TENANT FEES   Assured Shorthold Tenancies     Holding Deposit: Equivalent to one week’s rent.   NB This will be withheld if any relevant person withdraws from the tenancy, fails    a Right to Rent check, provides materially significant false or misleading information, fails to sign the tenancy agreement (and/or Deed of Guarantor) within 15 days or other deadline mutually agreed in writing.   Security Deposit: Equivalent to five weeks’ rent if the annual rent is less than £50,000.  Security Deposit:  Equivalent to six weeks’ rent if the annual rent is £50,000 or more.   Unpaid, Late and Returned Rent Payments:   Interest will be charged at 3% above the Bank of England Base Rate from the rent due date until paid, calculated on a daily basis.  Lost Keys:   Actual cost of replacement of keys, fobs, security devices or associated items which have been lost, damaged or broken.  If the loss results in lock needing to be changed the costs of a locksmith, new lock and replacement keys for the tenant, landlord and any other persons requiring keys will be charged to the tenant.
